Biography: Prarepim Adunpadungsak is a third-year undergraduate student double majoring in Economics and Cognitive Science with a minor in Global Health. Driven by a passion for data-driven research and its potential to address social and healthcare issues, she currently works as a research assistant at the Rational Altruism Lab. Beyond academics, Prarepim enjoys serving as the Marketing Director for Bear Consulting, as an International Student Ambassador, and as a Marketing Coordinator for LA Hacks. She also works part-time as a Technology Consultant at the Anderson School of Management. In her free time, she loves practicing recurve archery with the UCLA Archery Club. 

Future Plans: In the upcoming academic year, Prarepim will continue her research exploring how individuals make decisions that balance self-interest with concern for others. She plans to pursue a graduate degree in Economics or Decision Sciences. Her long-term goal is to conduct research that informs policies, particularly in the healthcare systems of developing countries. She hopes to return to Thailand to work on projects that combine academic research with social impact, including launching a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting economic mobility and social justice.  

What this scholarship means to me: I am deeply honored and grateful to be the recipient of the Venu and Ana Kotamraju Endowed Scholarship. As an international student passionate about research and social impact, this support empowers me to fully engage in the opportunities available at UCLA. This scholarship serves as a powerful source of motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to pursue my long-term goals. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. and Ms. Kotamraju for their generosity and I look forward to one day giving back to the community with the same spirit.
