Events will take place in a series of room around the Ackerman Union building.

  • Plenary lectures in Moore Hall.
  • Semi-plenary lectures in W.G. Young Hall.
  • Regular sessions in classrooms throughout Boelter Hall and the Mathematical Sciences Building.
  • Meals, breaks, and reception in the Ackerman Grand Ballroom.

*Note* for guests staying at the Sheraton Gateway: On Thursday, 6/22 there may be some difficulties getting to the hotel via Century Boulevard between the hours of 10am and 6pm. The hotel is highly recommending that guests depart and arrive to the hotel via 98th Street and Airport Boulevard during these times.

Getting to Campus

All routes below lead to the general campus area. The majority of conference events will be taking place in the area of the Ackerman Grand Ballroom, central to campus.

Ride Share:

UCLA’s campus is served by both Uber and Lyft. Guests traveling to UCLA via ride share will need to set their drop off at 1 of 13 designated pick up and drop off points.

Driving Directions: 

Guests are encouraged to use google maps or apple maps for driving directions that reflect the most up to date conditions, road closures and traffic.

Parking Instructions

UCLA’s campus is served by self operated parking structures. The closest structures to the Ackerman Grand Ballroom are parking structures 4, 7, and 8. A campus parking map can be found here (campus parking map).

Local Airports and Shuttle Service:

The Los Angeles area is served by five major commercial airports and more than a dozen private airports. The five major airports are located in Los Angeles, Burbank, Santa Ana, Long Beach, and Ontario. LAX is the closest airport to UCLA’s campus and offers the greatest availability of shuttle service to campus.
