Chiara Paz

I am a Bruin through and through – I attended UCLA for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and graduate degree in Education.  I’ve enjoyed working with college students since my days as a peer mentor in Los Angeles City College and have continued to work in various university advisory positions for the past 17 years. Prior to joining the Economics department in February 2017, I served as the advisor for the joint Master’s and teaching credential program in the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies.

Pichaya Kositsawat (they/them)

I graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature, then studied abroad in Thailand, where I received my master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies. I returned to work at UCI in various communications, administrative and counseling roles, assisting both undergraduate and graduate students. I love working with students and building community, and am delighted to join UCLA’s Dept of Economics in the Graduate Advisor position.

In my free time I enjoy cheering on the Dodgers, going to art museums, camping, and reading. I am always happy to meet new people and love to chat, so please stop by to say hello. My door is open to you!
