What this scholarship means to me: I am entering my final year at UCLA with an even greater appreciation for how crucial financial support is to my academic success. As my coursework has intensified—delving into advanced managerial accounting, rigorous econometrics, and complex financial modeling—balancing these challenging classes with part-time work has become increasingly difficult. Receiving the $5,000 Gumbiner Savett Inc. Endowed Undergraduate Prize would allow me to reduce my work hours significantly, ensuring that I can devote ample time and energy to mastering my senior-year curriculum without sacrificing my mental well-being or compromising the quality of my studies.

More than just alleviating immediate financial stress, this scholarship represents the opportunity to graduate debt-free, a goal I have worked toward since the very beginning of my undergraduate journey. By lessening my reliance on part-time income, I can fully immerse myself in group projects, research collaborations, and leadership opportunities— each of which will better prepare me for a career in consulting. The Gumbiner Savett Inc. Scholarship would not only honor my academic dedication but also empower me to finish my degree unburdened by loans, so I can begin contributing meaningfully to my community and industry from day one.
