Joao Guerreiro

Joao Guerreiro is an Assistant Professor of Economics. He is a macroeconomist studying topics in business cycles, fiscal policy, inequality, and imperfect expectations. He also works on understanding the consequences of demographic and technological changes for inequality and the optimal response of public policy. Before joining UCLA, he received his Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University.
