The William F. Sharpe Fellowship was created in 2008 to engage UCLA alumni, community members, and employers in supporting the career and professional development needs of UCLA’s top business undergraduates. Named in honor of Nobel Laureate and UCLA alumnus William F. Sharpe, the program has been successful in bringing together top employers with our brightest students interested in pursuing business careers.
As our future business executives, students also spend this Fellowship developing their leadership and capacity for civic engagement. To learn more and apply by the application deadline of Sunday, August 18, visit here.
The Simon Fellows Program serves as a capstone experience for outstanding Value Investing Concentrators interested in pursuing a deeper experience in buy-side investment management. Through applied research projects and firm visits, Simon Fellows gain significant exposure to buy-side firms including hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance companies, and mutual funds. Competitive candidates are those on track towards completing the Value Investing Concentration requirements and those expressing interest in buy-side roles after graduation.
