Economics 19 is a one-unit course that does NOT fulfill any GE or major requirement for the Economics, Business Economics, or Mathematics/Economics major. The course is open to first-year students in any major. 

 Economics 185 is a one-unit career development course which does not satisfy an Economics, Business Economics, or Mathematics/Economics major requirement. Students must be officially declared as an Economics, Business Economics, or Mathematics/Economics pre-major or major and have junior or senior standing to enroll.

The lecture and the lab must be taken on the same grading basis. A letter grade is required for the courses to satisfy the major requirement. 

Economics 111 has Economics 103/103L as a warning prerequisite. It is recommended that Economics 103/103L is taken prior to Economics 111. 

Economics 121 will not have a co-requisite lab offered in Fall Quarter. So, students are not expected to enroll in Economics 121L.
