What does the scholarship mean to me? It is such a blessing to know that the financial aspect of my schooling has been taken care of, as now I can fully devote myself to all that comes with the rest of my time here at UCLA. But even beyond that, it is incredibly encouraging to know that the Petersons and Awards Committee believe in my ability to succeed. I treat this scholarship as an investment in my future that I fully intend to pay forward to another deserving student when I am able.
