What does the scholarship mean to me?: I am truly grateful and honored to receive the Gumbiner, Savett, Inc scholarship. This financial support will help tremendously as I continue to pay for college individually. Given these hard economic times and rising tuition costs, this scholarship will ease my financial burden and enable me to focus on my academic and extra-curricular commitments. It is a true motivation to work harder and strive further in my collegial pursuits. Thus, I will be able to help future UCLA students in the same manner. I am proud and thankful that UCLA has such wonderful support from donors such as Gumbiner, Savett, Inc.
