Biography:

Pierre-Olivier Weill is a Professor of Economics at UCLA. His works lies at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance. His recent research includes the analysis and regulation of Over-the-Counter (OTC) markets, the measurement of the financial soundness of U.S. firms, and the design of monetary policy in incomplete markets. He has published in Econometrica, the Journal of Political Economy, the Review of Economic Studies. He is currently an Associate Editor of Econometrica, Journal of Economic Theory, and Review of Economic Dynamics, and has been Foreign Editor of the Review of Economic Studies, and Economic Theory.
