Biography:

Adriana Lleras-Muney is a Professor of Economics at UCLA. She previously worked at Princeton University and has served as Editor of the Journal of Health Economics. Professor Lleras-Muney’s research studies the relationships between socio-economic status (in particular education) and health, the effect of disease on income and economic development, and the determinants of fertility. She has received grants from the NIA, NIH and CCPR. Her work has been published in the American Economic Review, Econometrica and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
