UCLA Department of Economics Undergraduate Counseling Office

2263 Bunche Hall
Los Angeles, CA 90095

The Economics Undergraduate Counselors are not seeing students in person at this time.

If you need to submit forms or other paperwork to the counselors, please send an electronic copy through the MyUCLA Message Center.

Although we are currently not seeing students in person, we now offer new ways to remotely connect with our Undergraduate Counselors. Please see below for details.

Beginning September 27, 2021 – the Econ Undergrad Counselors will meet with students on a Virtual Drop In Basis.

For Virtual Drop In Advising — please type your arrival time in the Chat as soon as you enter the Zoom Breakout Room.

Students will be moved into the Breakout Room in the order that they have entered the Zoom Room and the posted time.

Please be aware that there might be quite a few students ahead of you.

We thank you for your patience as you wait to be seen.

Current UCLA Students can schedule 15 minute appointments to “meet” with a counselor via Zoom. Students may schedule an appointment up to 48 hours in advance. Counselors are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST.

New Bruins should contact a staff member in New Student & Transition Programs for questions about what to take in the Fall. Information about the Economics and the Business Economics majors can be found at Prospective Students and at Current Undergraduates.

Prospective Students  should contact UCLA Undergraduate Admission for questions about how to apply to UCLA.

We are currently working remotely and therefore will not be conducting in person meetings with students. Please schedule a Zoom meeting to speak with an undergraduate counselor or message them using one of the methods below:

If you have a UCLA logon ID/you are a current UCLA student, please submit your inquiry here.

If you do not have a UCLA logon ID, please submit your inquiry here.
