Biography: Stella He is a third year studying Business Economics with a concentration in Value Investing and a minor in Statistics. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and is the first in her family to pursue a career in finance. On campus, Stella is the Internal Vice President at Bruin Value Investing, a William F. Sharpe Fellow, and a Manager on the Undergraduate Business Society Investment Banking Committee. She is passionate about giving back to the UCLA community and strengthening UCLA’s undergraduate relationships with the business world. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, going to the gym, crafting espresso drinks, and curating Spotify playlists.

Future plans: This summer, Stella will be interning as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at PJT Partners in New York. She hopes to work in investment banking out of college and eventually transition into an investing-related role on the buy-side, where she aspires to increase female and diverse representation in finance.

What this scholarship means to me? I am incredibly honored and grateful to Donald Lipschutz and donors for their generosity and support. Not only does this scholarship help immensely with living costs, educational expenses, and tuition, it serves as a reminder of how far I’ve come in my academic and professional journey. This would not have been possible without the continual support of the broader UCLA community.
