Biography:

David Baqaee is an Assistant Professor, having received his Ph.D. from Harvard and worked previously at the London School of Economics.  He works on aggregation in disaggregated macroeconomic models, with an emphasis on the role production networks play in business cycles, growth, and international trade.

  • Endogenous fluctuations; multiple equilibria and stabilization policy; dynamic aspects of economic development, notably human capital, poverty traps and credit rationing; political economy of transfer payments, budget deficits and inflation.
