Biography

David Baqaee is a Professor of Economics. His research focuses on aggregation and heterogeneity in macroeconomics. Recent projects have focused on how resource misallocation, due to market power, nominal rigidities, or increasing returns to scale, affect aggregate productivity. His work has been published in Econometrica, the American Economic Review, the Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Review of Economic Studies. He has served as an associate editor of Econometrica and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
