Biography: Brandon is a third-year Business Economics student who transferred from Mt. San Antonio College in the summer of 2023. He and his family moved from Taiwan to the United States in the summer of 2013 pursuing a better education and environment for him and his sister. Brandon enjoys subjects such as sports, the stock market, and technology. In his free time, he enjoys exercising with his friends and watching baseball games.

Future Plans: Brandon will graduate after the spring quarter of 2025. After graduating, he plans to pursue a career in sports business/sports management. His goal is to work for a Major League Baseball organization, hopefully as a general manager of the franchise. To achieve this goal, he plans to pursue an internship with an MLB team in the 2024-2025 school year and learn about the business side of baseball.

What this scholarship means to me: It is an extreme honor and blessing to be selected for the John J. Peterson scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to not have to work during the school year and to focus on my academic and professional commitments for my last three quarters at UCLA. My family and I would like to sincerely thank Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, along with the Peterson family, for giving me this opportunity.
