UCLA Business Council:

The Department of Economics, along with the UCLA Career Center, started a new partnership in November 2009 with business-related student organizations to form the UCLA Business Council (UBC).  The goal of this council is to collaborate on events, streamline employer contact, and promote career related programming on campus.  In addition to the groups listed below, our meetings also host representatives from the Student Alumni Association and the Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC) to strengthen our relevance on campus.

Another Economics student group at UCLA is called the Undergraduate Economics Society (UES).  UES was founded in 2010 on the basis of actively connecting students with UCLA faculty for academic and professional opportunities. UES faciliates professional interaction, publishes an academic newsletter each quarter, and hosts a wide array of career building events throughout the school year.
