Marek Pycia is an Associate Professor of Economics at UCLA. He is a microeconomic theorist studying market design. His recent research includes the analysis of matching, school choice and refugee resettlement mechanisms, commodity and treasury auctions, and risk aversion and wealth effects in trading. He has published in the American Economic Review, Econometrica, and the Review of Economic Studies, and he is an Associate Editor of Theoretical Economics.
