Biography:

Jonathan Vogel is a Professor of Economics at UCLA. He works on issues related to international trade, immigration, inequality, and spatial competition. His recent research includes the implications of immigration for native wages and the impact of trade shocks on the distribution on welfare across U.S. local labor markets. He has published in the Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Review of Economic Studies. He is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Political Economy and the Journal of International Economics.
